Sharpen your wilderness skills with bear safety and boating training, setting you up for success in the great outdoors. This program continues the incredible remote bear viewing project initiated by Wrangell graduates. Over the past two years, this project has brought together local partners and the USDA Forest Service to create a remote bear viewing station at the Anan Wildlife Observatory. Participants will also explore drone technology and map-making to support salmon restoration efforts. And it’s not just projects, except fun field trips, adventure, and amazing experiences in the beautiful Tongass National Forest that will leave you with lifelong memories!
