“T3 Lift Off!” Summer Program Presentations

During the second T3 Alaska summer program “T3 Lift Off!” students from Alakanuk, Chevak, Kotlik, and Marshall explored how technology, creativity, and community connect. They learned design thinking by building solutions for others, practiced storytelling through photography and digital tools, and developed hands-on skills with drones, 3D printing, and Raspberry Pi computing. Working together to map Minto’s cemetery using drone technology, students created a print out that can be utilized by the tribal council for future decisions. In addition, they had the opportunity to learn from elders about the importance of their contributions and looking forward. This experience helped grow confidence, problem-solving skills, and understanding of how they can support their communities.
