Drone Club
The T3 Alaska Drone Club helps high school students prepare for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate while building practical skills in drone operations and aviation.
Students participate in weekly virtual coaching sessions, either in small groups or one-on-one, receiving personalized instruction and support as they prepare for the FAA knowledge exam. Along the way, students strengthen their understanding of airspace, regulations, weather, safety, flight operations, and mission planning.
The Drone Club is designed for students age 15+ who are interested in expanding their technical skills and exploring careers in fields such as aviation, engineering, infrastructure, environmental monitoring, mapping, public safety, and transportation. Participants receive guidance from experienced coaches and access to resources that support successful completion of the FAA Part 107 certification exam.
