Drone & Storytelling Workshop

T3 Alaska programs in Cordova, Valdez, Galena, and Kotzebue, along with clubs operating in the Chugach and Lower Yukon School District are invited to a T3 Alaska Storytelling & Drone Workshop. This event is held in Anchorage October 15-18, 2026, right be the annual AFN Conference.

Participants will have an unforgettable hands-on experience learning how to capture stories from the ground and the sky using professional storytelling techniques and drone technology. The event will have a several opportunities to build real-world skills while exploring exciting career opportunities.

Participants will:

  • Create a digital story from storyboard to finished production.
  • Learn to safely fly drones and earn your FAA TRUST Certificate.
  • Meet drone professionals and discover careers utilizing drone technology.
  • Test opportunity for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Exam (Drone Club students).

Best of all—it’s FREE! Travel, lodging, meals, and program materials are all provided.
