Siemens’ Partnership

  • News

This project aimed to promote innovative thinking and improve a collaborative workspace where teams from various disciplines can collaborate, learn from one another, and spark fresh ideas. Thanks to the Empower grant, The University of Alaska Fairbanks’ (UAF) CEM / T3 Alaska Makerspace has undergone a significant modernization. Siemens’ support has enabled acquiring more advanced 3D printers, laser cutters, art supplies, hand tools, and microcontroller devices like Raspberry Pi’s. Importantly, this space is now open to all students, faculty, and staff within the UA system.
