T3 Orientation Pre-conference
Kick off the T3 experience with a full-day orientation focused on connection, mindset, and community-centered learning. Participants will be introduced to the history and approach of T3, engage in networking and site activation, and reflect on why they are here and what they hope to gain.
The day includes hands-on Growth Mindset activities, conversations around play-, project-, problem-, and place-based learning (P4BL) and the AFIRE vision, and an introduction to mini-grants and design thinking for community-based projects. Participants will earn a badge through the mini-grants activity.
No technical experience required—Raspberry Pi and 3D printing displays will be available throughout the weekend for exploration. Participants who enroll in the course will have additional sessions during the ASTE conference to dive deeper into the T3 Onboarding process.
