UAF & Regional Makerspaces
The UAF Makerspace is a collaboration between the grant funded Upward Bound Program, the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and the T3 Alaska program. The UAF Makerspace is connected to all other regional T3 Alaska makerspaces throughout Alaska who can share ideas and support each other remotely.

Mini-Grant Funding
Mini-grants are available to individual students, or teams of students, for projects that are centered around solving a community problem. Mini-grants are part of the student learning process: students are required to identify a problem-based issue, conceptualize a possible solution, offer data-driven evaluation methods in the application process. Student who receive the funding work with community partners using design thinking model to develop and test a solution, and then present their findings publicly. Mini-grants are available for up to $300 grant for materials and supplies.
Mini-grants are only accepted during certain timeframes.
