T3 Alaska high school clubs give students a place to explore technology, creativity, and community through hands-on learning. Each club is supported by a trained T3 Coach and provides students with access to tools, curriculum, and opportunities to develop technical and professional skills.
Students explore technologies such as digital storytelling, drones, 3D printing, programming, design, and energy. They apply these skills through projects connected to their interests and their communities, building confidence while working with peers, coaches, and community partners. Through T3, students can also earn badges and certifications, participate in statewide events and summer programs, and explore education and career pathways.
T3 Coaches lead local club programming, mentor students, and connect their clubs to statewide T3 opportunities, including workshops, badges, summer intensives, mini-grants, certifications, and industry partners. Each club is shaped by the interests and strengths of its community while connecting students to the resources, people, and opportunities of the statewide T3 Alaska network.
Makerspaces
T3 Makerspaces are safe learning environments where students exercise their creative and technological skills. Makerspace equipment may include 3D printers, laser cutters, drones and more. Students utilize T3 Makerspaces for art, studying, and projects that solve community problems. T3 Makerspaces are run by trained teachers and school leaders who provide guidance and training, both with projects and technology.
